Industrial Batteries Australia (IBA), in partnership with Minit Chargers, will launch a specialised outdoor dual-port eGSE Fast Charger at CeMAT AUSTRALIA 2026, supporting the growing Electrification requirements of Airport ground support operations.

Designed for demanding airside environments, the new Charger provides a flexible and robust charging solution capable of Fast Charging any battery technology. With a powerful 20kW per-port configuration, delivering up to 40kW in total, the unit is engineered to support high-utilisation ground support equipment fleets where uptime, reliability and operational efficiency are critical.

Minit Chargers technology has been globally deployed and proven across demanding motive power applications, bringing established performance, reliability and charging intelligence to airport electrification projects. The specialised eGSE Fast Charger builds on this proven platform to help airports, ground handlers and fleet operators transition to Electric equipment with confidence.

The Charger also includes fleet management capability, enabling automated billing based on electricity usage, along with intelligent power-sharing functionality for sites operating under electrical load constraints. These features allow operators to optimise charging infrastructure while managing power availability more effectively.

To further support the future of Airport Electrification, the Charger can also be supplied with a third charging port for seperate EV equipment, helping future proof on-ramp infrastructure as Electric Ground Support Equipment adoption continues to expand.

“The Minit Chargers integration with our outdoor-rated BSL Battery - Industrial Li-ion Batteries ensures a seamless outdoor Motive Power package offering, highlighted and reinforced by IBA’s National coverage and real-time product support capabilities,” said David Cooper, Managing Director of IBA. “This level of support is especially important when working with leading product and service providers in mission-critical operating environments, where National same-day support is an absolute requirement.”

The launch marks another step in IBA’s commitment to delivering advanced Motive Power solutions for Australian industry, combining proven Battery Technology, intelligent charging systems and Nationwide service support.
