The use of high efficiency lithium battery systems and intelligent power management algorithms significantly reduces overall energy consumption compared to traditional Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).

Scalable and Resilient Architecture

Leveraging a distributed communication backbone built on RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka, the platform enables seamless, low latency coordination between multiple autonomous transport vehicles and central control systems.

The system’s intelligence layer is paired with a modular architecture that enables scalability and 24/7 continuous operations. Additional shuttles can be introduced at Zero Code into the system, without disrupting existing operations, allowing capacity to scale in line with demand while maintaining system stability.

Data Driven Predictive Maintenance

With 24+ independent channels of data streaming per shuttle (and growing), Dexion’s centrally connected AI hub continuously monitors the historical events of each shuttle to better highlight and categorise risks prior to it surfacing and becoming a real-world problem.

Servicing & maintenance schedules are then adjusted based on this data instead of a fixed set interval. If the shuttle is running in optimal condition, it may then operate for longer before service and maintenance is required, minimising costs, maximising ROI.
