Lucas Stretton
Lucas Stretton is Partner and General Manager APAC at SimWell, with over 20 years of experience applying modelling, simulation, and analytics to complex warehousing, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. He is widely recognised for his practical expertise in using digital models to analyse, validate, and improve logistics systems, from distribution centres and automated material handling environments to broader end-to-end supply chains.
Lucas has led modelling initiatives supporting warehouse design, automation strategy, WMS validation, capacity planning, throughput analysis, and operational optimisation. His work enables organisations to de-risk major system changes, evaluate growth and peak scenarios, and improve service, productivity, and resilience through data-driven decision making.
He works closely with operations leaders, system integrators, and technology providers to translate complex system behaviour into clear, actionable insights that support confident investment and implementation decisions. Lucas is particularly passionate about helping organisations use digital models not just at the design stage but as ongoing tools to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
