Turning AI and Automation into Real Logistics Value

AI is often discussed as a future opportunity, but the real challenge for logistics and intralogistics leaders is knowing where to apply it, how to integrate it with existing systems, and how to turn it into measurable operational value.

In this interactive workshop, Argon & Co will bring together their AI acceleration, systems integration, and intralogistics specialists to show how AI can move beyond concept and into practical logistics use cases. Using a client-deployed WMS AI application as the starting point, the session demonstrates how similar thinking can be applied to warehouse optimisation helping operations improve productivity, reduce manual planning effort, better match labour to demand, and build a clearer ROI case.

Participants will see how an AI-enabled tool could work in a warehouse environment, how it can integrate with existing operational systems, and what is required to move from idea to implementation. The session then shifts into a practical working format, where participants break into groups to identify their own operational pain points, define the business problem, and shape a potential AI or automation-enabled solution.

The focus is on practical application, not theory, where AI can create value, what data and systems are required, how to assess feasibility, and how to build a tangible business case for investment.
