Inside One of Australia's Most Advanced Automated Warehousing Operations
Join Automate X for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia's most advanced automated warehousing operations at CDB Group's Melbourne Airport facility.
This site visit showcases a landmark deployment of Geek+ robotics technology, combining two AMR systems within a single unified architecture, a Geek+ automated tote system and a Geek+ bulk picking AMR system operating in parallel. What makes this installation truly unique in the Australian market is the ability for both systems to co-pick bulk and tote-based items within the same operational environment, something rarely achieved at this scale locally.
The facility also features a purpose-built conveyor system for outbound processing and sortation, delivering a fully end-to-end automated workflow from pick to dispatch.
Attendees will gain real-world insight into:
- Multi-system AMR architecture and integration
- Co-picking of bulk and tote-based items within a single automated platform
- Outbound conveyor and sortation system design
- The practical realities of deploying and scaling automation in an Australian warehousing context
